A name that carries weight.

Derived from the Arabic name Umar, meaning "life" or "long-lived". Through Swahili usage, Omari carries a softer, more rhythmic form while retaining a sense of vitality and abundance.

There is a quiet strength to it — not loud power, but steady, rooted presence. A name chosen not for aesthetics alone, but for what it represents: architecture that endures.

An experimental design practice.

We design for life — not just form.

At Omari, we are an experimental design practice rooted in the belief that architecture should enable life to flourish. Our work begins with listening — to land, to people, to history — and from this, we create environments that evolve, endure, and remain meaningful.

Every commission is an invitation to engage with place. We do not arrive with answers already drawn. We arrive with questions, tools, and a commitment to designs that outlast the moment of their making.

"I was taught to see land as something to build on — a site, a plot, a beginning. But the ground never felt like a beginning. It felt like something that had already spoken long before I arrived.

There is a silence in the land that is not empty. It carries memory, absence, and history. So I could not design as I was taught. I stopped asking what can be built, and started asking what happened here.

Land is not neutral. Every design sits inside history. I work with memory, tension, and what refuses to be forgotten. That is my design philosophy."

"I do not believe architecture begins with buildings. It begins with listening — to cities that remember more than they reveal, to spaces that carry politics in their silence, and to people who move through design long before they are considered in it.

I am a translator between intention and impact — between what is drawn and what is lived.

Design is never neutral. It includes or excludes. It speaks or it erases. I choose awareness over decoration, and meaning over object. I do not design objects. I design meaning."

Architecture as a living discipline.

Three principles underpin every project we take on — from the first sketch to the final stone laid.

I
Place Before Form
Every project begins with listening — to the land, the culture, the people who will inhabit it. Form follows understanding.
II
Precision as Craft
We obsess over detail at every scale, from master plan to door handle. Excellence is not an option — it is the baseline.
III
Legacy as Standard
We design for 100 years. Timeless materials, considered proportions, enduring ideas — because great architecture outlives its architects.

Let's build
something that
lasts.

Architecture is not just built — it is revealed, shaped, and carried forward. If you can imagine it, we can structure it and bring it into reality.
